Samsung DualView TL225 and TL220 Cameras with Dual LCDs

Samsung announced its DualView TL225 and TL220 digital cameras with dual LCD displays, one on the front and one on the back, that are to “Leads the Way in the Digital Camera Evolution”. The TL225 and TL220 (aka ST500 and ST550) are almost identical, except the touchscreen LCDs on their back.

Both TL225 and TL220 have a 12.2 Megapixel image sensor, a 4.6X optical zoom Schneider-KREUZNACH lens and a 1.5-inch front LCD that is really useful in Self-Portrait mode. These camera feature Dual (Optical+Digital) Image Stabilization (IS) technology, Smart Auto mode, Smart Album, Smart Face Recognition, Smart Touch Shooting, Beauty Shot and Photo Style Selector. They can record 720p HD video at H.264 format.

Samsung TL225 comes with a 3.5-inch wide LCD touchscreen while the TL220 gets a 3-inch touchscreen. They provide the Smart Gesture User Interface (UI) and is equipped with built-in Gravity sensor for user-friendly control.

Samsung DualView TL225 and TL220 will be released on September 2009 for $349.99 and $299.99 respectively.
