LG GD900 Crystal Now Available
LG releases its GD900 Crystal touchscreen slider phone, at least in the UK and Hong Kong. The GD900 Crystal has the world’s first transparent design. It gets a transparent touchpad that is protected by tempered glass.
The slim, stylish GD900 features a 3-inch 800×480 touchscreen display, a 8 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth, 1.5GB internal memory and a microSD card slot. The phone uses the S-Class UI. It supports quad-band GSM/EDGE, Dual band UMTS 3G/HSDPA 7.2Mbps networks.
The transparent Crystal Touchpad in not only a keypad that looks good but a fully functional touchpad that works like a touchpad found on a laptop . It is able to handle multi finger touch control for zoom in and out with a simple touch of fingertips, finger-writing recognition, Gesture Shortcut control. Users can also use it as a touch wheel and a mouse.
LG GD900 Crystal is available in Hong Kong for HK$3980 (US$514) without contract, and in UK for free if you sign particular contract agreement.
