NEC to sell giant curved PC monitor for $8,000
NEC plans to sell a 43-inch curved, yes CURVED, PC monitor starting next month. The $8,000 CRVD-42DWX+ display sports a 2880×900 pixel resolution, a 10,000:1 contrast ratio and a whole lotta hardware. It looks like a flat-screen from the front, but it’s actually a 15.2 inch deep DLP (projection-based) display. Here comes the video! (props to Engadget)
